Message: Can someone please explain the difference between COBOL II , COBOL 85 and COBOL/400?

Message: COBOL 85 is the old ISO standard from 1985.
COBOL II is for mainframes and has some z-series specific extensions.COBOL/400 is for midrange systems with some i-series specific extensions.
You can find further explanations in the public libraries.
