 Subject: Error while compiling

Hi guys (and girlz...)
I am currently trying to run a sample COBOL application on an AIX box which has Oracle 8i installed. I am encountering the following error when trying to create .o files using the following command -
cob2 -c -qlib -qSIZE=51200K: MODULEB.cbl /oracle/V.8.i/precomp/lib/libprocob2.a
The error that is thrown (real bad) back to me is -
IGYSI5257-U Message catalog not found. Compiler is terminating.: Error 0
Any suggestions on why is this happening ? I am a COBOL novice and don't quite know where to start.

Thanks for the reply crox. Howevere, I am not running the application under web sphere. It is running as a standalone application on aN aix 5.2 box with Oracle 8i. I tried setting the LANG environment variable to "en_US", but the message creeps up again.
