Subject: Running the program

Message:
Hi, Im a complete beginner to Legacy J (actually Cobol in general) and I have a very stupid question to ask.

Im just wondering, after you run the program where can one view the output? I run the program but then nothing shows up.
Many thanks in advance.

Message:
Hi,

Without the code, it is impossible to know where the output will be. What did you select for output and did the code do with the data?
NEED TO SEE THE CODE BEFORE BEING ABLE TO ASSIST

Message:
Oh, I think I already know what you mean. So, looking at the code below (taken from the Environment Division), the output file would be Employee.doc?
Employee.doc is the file I need to be looking at in the programs folder once I run the program to see the output?
