could u tell me the basic differences that will be experienced if one tries to convert a program coded in vs cobol ii to mf cobol

I think that it depends on what you are actually doing in each program and which MF compiler you are using that will determine the differences. However, the differences will usually be in regard to screen handling and functions that are called. If you have a small program or some sample code that you could put on the site, I could then give you some advice as to what differences there will be.
