Our existing cobol apps are text based displays that are cryptic and don't provide enough information. We'd like to provide the ability for the user to move their mouse over a portion of the screen and have tooltip information provided. We would like to do this without having to modify the existing cobol apps.I guess somehow we would need to establish the tooltips based on position of the screen or cobol record layouts.

The applications are windows based cobol apps. Sorry forgot to mention that. Have seen lots of tooltip type tools but most seem to be scripting type tools.
